Our sanctuary is available for weddings, baptisms, funerals, and other ceremonial events. There is plenty of seating in the main area as well as the balcony. We also have an organist on hand with a beautiful pipe organ in the sanctuary. The Fellowship Hall can be used in combination with our sanctuary for gatherings after an event. There is handicapped-accessible seating and a handicapped entrance available.

Palmyra First UMC has a large kitchen area next to the Fellowship Hall. It can be used in conjunction with the hall depending on your needs. You are welcome to do your own catering or hire a caterer to serve the meal for you.

The outdoor pavilion is a great place for a picnic, party, or family gathering. This is a covered patio area that includes picnic tables. The tables can be converted into benches. Electric and water is available if needed. There is plenty of grass and shade trees to enjoy the outdoor weather. There is also a small, fenced playground available for the little ones.

The South Wing/Classroom is a room inside the church office off of Green Street. It is a perfect room for meetings and presentations for a small group of people.

The Camp Seltzer Retreat is a Christian facility for your overnight retreats, church meetings, family reunions, day camping, receptions, showers, and picnics. It accommodates up to 75 people in the meeting room and up to 60 people for overnight camping.

Palmyra First United Methodist Church has a large Fellowship Hall, which is adjacent to a full kitchen, has a stage, and an indoor basketball court. We can provide tables and chairs upon request. There is plenty of room for a reception, reunion, banquets, celebrations, parties, holiday gatherings, etc. We also provide wedding services and funeral services.

Our recreation room is the perfect place for a youth group or younger adults to meet and worship while enjoying time together. Formerly the “Scout” room, it includes an air hockey table, an indoor basketball arcade, and a Foosball table. There is also ample seating and plenty of room for a youth get-together or ministry.

The Chapel is a small, private sanctuary located in the lower level of the church. This is perfect for smaller services or ceremonies. It is available for one-time events or can also be rented on a weekly or monthly basis.

Our media tech is available to set up electronics equipment, sound system/amplifier, and/or other electrical equipment needed for that special event.
