We’ve all seen people suffer who did no wrong, did no harm, but were suffering just the same. Why? “Why Do the Innocent Suffer?” is a question that raises all kinds of doubts about a supposed loving God. We will be looking at Genesis 1:27-28 as we begin to explore the question.

27 So God created humankind[a] in his image, in the image of God he created them;[b] male and female he created them.
28 God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth and subdue it; and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the air and over every living thing that moves upon the earth.”
